Week 1-2: Fundamentals and Configuration
We will start with the basic knowledge of StrategyQuant X (SQX), its installation, configuration and preparation for algorithmic trading. You will learn how to correctly configure instruments and data for CFDs and Futures, laying the foundations for a solid workflow.
Week 3-4: Creation of Strategies and Robustness Tests
Explore the module “Builder” and discover how to develop strategies using genetic algorithms, managing risk and money efficiently. Additionally, you will learn how to perform robustness testing like Monte Carlo and sequential optimization, ensuring your strategies are robust and profitable.
This material will be delivered only at a training level, and will be the student’s sole decision if they wish to connect it to a real account.
Week 5-6: Advanced Analysis and Custom Projects
We will delve into advanced tests such as “Walk Forward Matrix” and use tools such as “Master Portfolio” to diversify and optimize your strategies. You will also learn how to automate workflows with “Custom Projects”.
Week 7-8: AlgoWizard and Strategy Programming – Includes anchor houses
Master the module “AlgoWizard”, from using its editor to creating variables and multiple entries. We’ll look at how to program complex strategies, such as candlestick patterns, and how to take advantage of using templates for different trading styles.
Week 9-10: Results Analysis and VPS Management
Use QuantAnalyzer to analyze and compare your strategy reports, and learn how to manage a VPS to trade professionally on MT4/MT5/Tradestation, ensuring an optimal and secure trading environment.
Week 11-12: Exclusive Masterclasses
We will culminate with two master sessions that will provide you with advanced knowledge in workflow, determination of Spread, EGT, etc. and in the implementation of multilevel systems, tools that will differentiate you as an algorithmic trader.
